The Bay of Bengal, the largest bay of the world, forms the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean.
It resembles a triangle in shape, and is bordered by Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal
to the north, India and Sri Lanka to the west and Myanmar and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to the east.
